In the annual Gordon Paving-Mountain West Components Invitational, the Golden Eagle men remained perfect on the season, handling the Pro Look All-Stars 124-71 on Friday night. The Eagles jumped out to an early lead, and never looked back, taking a 38 point lead into the half. The Eagles are back in action Saturday night at 8 p.m. against Seward County Community College.

The Lady Golden Eagles battled against Midland (TX) College, but couldn't hit shots down the stretch to match the Lady Vaqueros. Midland finished the game on a 6-0 run to hand the preseason-#8 Eagles their first loss of the year, 80-74. The ladies are back in action on Saturday as well, against top-ranked Central Arizona at 6 p.m.
