Oakley outruns Castleford, advances to title game

The Oakley Hornets are returning to the 1A Division I championship game. On Saturday, the Hornets clinched the deal, beating Castleford 38-20 in a Snake River Conference Championship rematch.
With the game still up for grabs at halftime, Oakley came out of the break on fire, scoring three touchdowns on long run plays. The ground attack turned out to be too much for the Wolves to come back from. With the win, the Hornets advance to the state championship where they will face Prairie on Saturday, November 21, at Holt Arena.
In the 2A, the Declo Hornets also punched their tickets to the championship game, beating New Plymouth, 22-6. Declo will face Parma, in a rematch of last year's title game, Friday at Holt Arena.
