By Jeremy Wayne

2-10-2010

The Kimberly Lady Bulldogs fell behind early, but held tough, earning a 48-36 win over Gooding in the 3A SCIC title game at the College of Southern Idaho on Wednesday night.

Wednesday's title game win secured the Bulldogs third straight conference championship and the District IV top seed to state.

The Gooding Senators competed on every possession, challenging shots, forcing jump balls and turnovers, and kept pace with the powerful and proven Lady Bulldogs. They will attempt to lock up a spot at the state tournament next week, with a play-in game against the Shelley Russets on Saturday at Highland in Pocatello.
