Bruins, Spartans advance to 4A GBC semifinal

The Twin Falls Bruins jumped out to an 11-0 lead on the Burley Bobcats on Thursday night and never looked back on their way to a berth in the Great Basin semifinal against Minico.

In Rupert, the Spartans handled Jerome in their quarterfinal 55-42 to advance to Saturday's big matchup. The Bruins and Spartans will meet once again with a shot at the GBC title game on the line.

Tip off for Saturday's game is set for 7 p.m. ar Baun Gymnasium in Twin Falls.
