The Twin Falls Bruins have done it again. On Saturday, the Bruins beat Moscow 52-37 to win the 4A state championship. The last time the Bruins won a state championship trophy was back in 2006 when they won the 5A trophy.
The Bruins found themselves in a battle with the Bears with the game tied at 20 apiece at halftime. But after that, it was all Twin Falls. The Bruins ripped off a 32-17 second half and went onto beat Moscow by 15 points.
In the 1A Division I, the Castleford Wolves stumbled in the second half, and fell to Prairie, 52-48.
It was another disappointing result in the 1A Division II, as the Carey Panthers fell to Nez Perce by a single point, 57-56 the final.
