The College of Southern Idaho baseball team was bit sluggish on Friday, as it fell to Salt Lake Community College in three straight contests. The Golden Eagles lost all three games to the Bruins, 1-0, 8-0, and 2-1.
A lack of production on offense was definitely apparent, as the Golden Eagles only managed 10 hits total on the day. The Bruins, on the other hand, converted 18 hits into 11 runs in the sweep.
Weather permitting, both teams will meet again on Saturday at 12 p.m.
