Vandals Looking for Remedy After Opening Loss

By Ngozi Ekeledo

Moscow, ID ( KMVT - TV / KTWT - TV ) Things were supposed to be different for the Idaho football team in 2013.

A new coach and a hearty influx of junior college players was supposed to be the difference.

Unfortunately no one told North Texas, who rolled to a 40-6 win over the Vandals in their first game of the season.

Idaho did very little right outside of their first possession, which ended in their only touchdown on the game, and head coach Paul Petrino thinks he has figured out some of the major problems, and hopes to correct them for this weekend.
