Kaleb Price, Athlete of the Week

By Paul Johnson

Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) - This week's D.L. Evans bank athlete of the week had quite the outing on the mound.
Our D.L. Evans bank athlete of the week is the Twin Falls' Hawks Kaleb Price.
Price had an extremely busy time on the mound...and I'm surprised his arm didn't get tired from all of the work that he did.
The hawks played in the Donnelly wood bat tournament in burley, and had a successful past few days.
In the team's first game against Bonneville, Kaleb Price was tremendous. The pitcher Moched the shutout and fanned 13 batters in the win.
And price also contributed at the bats by going 2 for 4 in the *5-nothing victory.
Even though the hawks fell in their second game of the day to Burley, they were back at it again on Friday. The team split their two games on Friday against bear lake and maple mountain and set up a spot in the third place game for the tournament's conclusion on Saturday.
In the game against Blackfoot, price surpassed his thirteen strikeouts from two days before. While the game went into 10 innings, price fanned *19 batters in total* but it wasn't enough as the hawks fell *2 to 1.*
Despite Telos, Price still put on a handful of impressive performances in tournament play, so congratulations again to Kaleb Price...our DL Evans bank athlete of the week.
