Camp Fees Increase

By S Casey

With warmer weather in the air outdoor enthusiasts are starting to think about camping... But before heading out the door you may want to grab a little extra cash.
According to Sawtooth National Forest employees fees for overnight camping at seven campgrounds on the Minidoka and Fairfield Ranger Districts will be increased this summer.
Employees say the fee increase is necessary to meet the needs of increasing costs for campground maintenance. Overnight fees will be increased from six dollars to eight dollars per night in the Minidoka Ranger District. And raised up to six dollars in the Fairfield Ranger District.
