Last night the community gathered at Roper Auditorium to discuss the problem of underage drinking.
The Southern Idaho partners against drugs and safe and drug free schools hosted a town hall forum to show that underage drinking is a more serious issue than before.
Officials say that seventy-five percent of high school seniors in Idaho consumed alcohol in the past month.
Donna Stalley says, "Talk to your kids. Talk to them early. Kids are starting to drink at a much earlier age and I think if parents would take the time to talk to them, it might cut down on the drinking."
On a positive note - thirty-eight students from local schools were recognized for their volunteer efforts and a pledge to stay drug and alcohol free.
