Funding can be tough to come by for Bills Place.
Local sponsors and individuals made sure that wasn't a problem today at the Twin Falls Municipal Golf Course.
Bill Brockman says, “We're raising funds today. We get no government grants, no government money. It’s a non-profit organization, and this is our biggest fundraiser of the year.”
This is the fifth annual golf tournament the organization has hosted and thanks to the generosity of the community, it could be another success.
Con Paulos says, “Each year we do a charity fishing challenge, the team Con Paulos got milk? Fishing derby, and that's where we raise the funds, the funds that we'll be donating today.”
George Hilarides says, “At team Con Paulos, we support a lot of charities, and these are good people, and they're doing a positive impact on the community.”
Brockman says, “That means that we're still providing the services to transition these young men back into the community.”
Bills Place is a transitional home for young adult males leaving the state's foster care system.
Hilarides says, “We think bill's place is a great organization.”
Con Paulos says, “We've been involved with bill's place ever since he began the project and it's been our honor and our pleasure to be a part of it.”
