...BLOWING DUST IN SOUTHWEST IDAHO...

.A STRONG THUNDERSTORM OUTFLOW BOUNDARY FROM OREGON HAS MERGED WITH A COLD FRONT PRODUCING WIDESPREAD BLOWING DUST IN SOUTHWEST IDAHO. THE FRONT PASSED THROUGH BOISE AROUND 650 PM MDT AND WILL REACH THE WESTERN MAGIC VALLEY AROUND 9 PM. SUSTAINED WEST WINDS NEAR 30 TO 40 MPH WITH GUSTS 40 TO 55 MPH HAVE REDUCED VISIBILITY TO BETWEEN ONE-HALF MILE AND ONE MILE IN MOST AREAS...BUT LOCALLY AS LOW AS ONE-QUARTER MILE.

Changes come tonight and Wednesday as cooler air will arrive across the Magic Valley thanks to a strong upper level storm and a cold front. Highs on Wednesday will be 15-20 degrees cooler than Tuesday only reaching the mid 60s. Winds will be strong between 15-25 with potential gusts over 30-35 mph. It will remain cooler than average for the end of the week. Lots of sunshine but highs from the upper 60s on Thursday to low 70s on Friday.
