Chilly Temperatures Continue To Plague Southern Idaho

By Brandon Redmond

Low temperatures last night didn't get quite as cold as they could have thanks to some cloud cover that lingered throughout the overnight hours and acted as a "blanket" across the region. Lows did bottom out in the teens and lower 20's in most locations and more of the same is expected tonight.

As of 6:00 p.m. temperatures are already falling across the area and it definitely feels cold out there!

A weak weather system could bring some light snow to the Wood River Valley on Monday and Tuesday. 1-2" of snow could accumulate in Hailey, Sun Valley and Ketchum. The snow should stay North of the Magic Valley but I can't rule out some flurries Monday Night and Tuesday Morning. Here are the weather headlines for the upcoming week:

As the headlines indicate, temperatures will be warmer by the end of the week with partly sunny skies. Next weekend is actually looking pretty nice! Here's your school day forecast for tomorrow. Bundle those kids up Monday morning because it will be cold.

Have a great weekend everyone - Brandon
