Today is the first day I'm not calling for any triple digit temperatures since Wednesday, June 26th. Here are the expected high temperatures as we head into this 4th of July afternoon.
Normally these temperatures would be considered HOT. However, we saw triple digit highs in Twin Falls Between June 28th and July 2nd. Below are the official high temperatures recorded at the airport.
I never thought I'd say this but.. a high of 94 degrees never sounded so cool!
There are slight chances for isolated storms this afternoon but the storms are expected to die down tonight. Here is a look at your fireworks forecast for tonight.
It looks like it will be a great night!
There is a high fire danger today so I wouldn't be doing my job if I didn't say the following; light fireworks only in designated areas and always have a fire extinguisher handy.
High temperatures will stay seasonal (80s and 90s) through the weekend. High pressure will start to strengthen again into next week so temperatures will shoot back up by Wednesday.
Luckily this heat wave will not be as hot as the one we just went through. Have a happy and safe Independence Day!
