Nice Weather For Easter Sunday With Warm Weather Pattern Continuing This Week

By Brandon Redmond

It was a nice day out there today with most areas in the valleys climbing into the lower 70's with mostly sunny skies! Here is a look at high temperatures from across the area!

A weather system spinning over Nevada is pushing moisture into parts of the area. That caused a few showers and thunderstorms to develop across Southwestern Twin Falls and Owyhee Counties Sunday Afternoon and Evening. The radar shows most of those storms remaining off to the South and West of Twin Falls and I think that trend will continue through the overnight hours.

The moisture with that system could get a little farther North on Monday and I think we could see a chance for a few isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms by the afternoon and evening, primarily South of Twin Falls. Here is a look at our FutureCaster for Monday Evening at 7:00 PM.

Tuesday and Wednesday look to be dry with continued warm temperatures. An active weather pattern will keep a prolonged period of rain chances in the forecast starting Thursday Night through next weekend.

Have a great week everyone!
