One Hot July!

By KMVT News

Tired of it being RIDICULOUSLY hot outside? Ya.. me too! Take a look at these official high temperatures from Magic Valley Regional Airport in Twin Falls.

The average high temperature so far this month has been 95 degrees! Normally it's 88 degrees. We've had five days with triple digit heat and we've set two record highs. Yikes!

Some changes are on the way though. Tomorrow we will see more of a southwesterly wind flow which will usher in monsoon moisture. It won't be a lot of moisture but just enough to where there will be a very slight chance for storms. There will be better chances for storms on Thursday. The storms will be mostly dry with lightining and gusty winds which could make for some fire concerns.

This pattern will last through Friday and highs will stay in the 90s through Saturday.

By Sunday low pressure will get close enough to us to usher in some cooler air.. FINALLY!

Now I'm not saying it will be COOL.. I'm just saying it will be cooler. Highs will be right around average Sunday into Monday. Here is your seven day forecast.

And last but not least here is the funny weather picture of the day.

Hahaha! Will someone PLEASE remind me to do this when December rolls around!
