Rain Arrives Tonight And Tuesday
A fairly decent rain event will impact much of Southern Idaho tonight and Tuesday. An area of low pressure system is moving East out of Washington and Oregon and it's bringing with it a big push of moisture. Here's a look at the current satellite and radar as of 3:30 PM.
Showers are already forming Northwest of Boise up towards the Ontario area with more showers over parts of Washington and Oregon.
The rain should hold off tonight until after midnight but it will likely be a wet and cool morning tomorrow as you head to work or school. Futurecaster shows widespread rain across Southern Idaho by 7:00 AM.
Our forecast models are showing any where between two tenths of an inch to as much as four tenths of an inch of rain falling across the Magic Valley on Tuesday.
We should get a break in the rain Tuesday Evening before another round of rain arrives by Wednesday Afternoon.
