By Brandon Redmond

Parts of the Magic Valley including Twin Falls are bracing for a snow storm on Friday and Saturday. Twin Falls, Jerome, Gooding and Southern Cassia Counties have been placed under a Winter Storm Warning. A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for Northern Cassia, Minidoka, Lincoln and Blaine Counties.

Snow will arrive by late Friday Morning and could become heavy into the afternoon and evening. Roads could become slick by Friday Afternoon and Evening as snow continues to fall across the area.
Winds will pick up Friday Night and Saturday which means blowing and drifting of the snow will be a problem. Highway 93 from Twin Falls to Jackpot could be treacherous on Saturday.
Twin Falls, Jerome and Burley will see 3-6" of snow. Heavier amounts of snow is expected as you head South in Twin Falls and towards the airport where 6-12" of snow is likely.
