Winter Storm To Bring Snow To Twin Falls And Southern Idaho Wednesday

Southern Idaho (KMVT-TV) A Winter Storm will bring snow to a large portion of Southern Idaho Tuesday Night and Wednesday.

The National Weather Service has issued Winter Weather Advisories for Twin Falls, Jerome and Gooding Counties while Winter Storm Watches have been issued for the South Hills.

KMVT's Weather Authority Team is forecasting 2-4" of snow in Twin Falls, Jerome, Wendell and Burley with slightly higher amounts across the Shoshone, Gooding and Rupert areas. 4-8" of snow is possible in Jackpot, Nevada and across the South Hills.

Gusty winds on Wednesday Afternoon and Wednesday Evening will lead to blowing and drifting snow. Road conditions Wednesday Morning could be hazardous due to the falling snow and blowing and drifting snow will continue to cause problems throughout the day on Wednesday.
