Ridge of high pressure build back in across southern Idaho for the rest of the week and into the start of the weekend. More heat is in the forecast along with mostly sunny skies.

Overnight it will be fair, there is a small chance of showers and storms across the higher terrain of Twin Falls and Cassia counties as well as Blaine county this evening. Otherwise skies will partly cloudy to mostly clear and once again warm.

Wednesday through Saturday we will see lots of sunshine and more very hot temperatures. Highs will range from the upper 90s to just near 100 across the valleys and low to mid 90s in the mountains…

The next potential system arrives Sunday into Monday with just a chance of isolated showers and storms each afternoon and temperatures a little cooler by about 5 degrees.
