WIND ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT FOR THE WESTERN MAGIC VALLEY INCLUDING NORTHERN TWIN FALLS COUNTY, GOODING, JEROME COUNTIES AND SOUTHERN ELMORE AND OWYHEE COUNTIES FROM 10 PM TONIGHT UNTIL 7 AM FRIDAY MORNING. WINDS WILL INCREASE WITH AN APPROACHING COLD FRONT. SUSTAINED WINDS DURING THE EARLY MORNINGS WILL PEAK BETWEEN 20-30 MPH, WITH GUST 45 MPH.
Cold front approaching from the Pacific coast will spread showers into the region overnight into the early morning of Friday. Strong gusty winds are also likely with the front as it moves through Friday morning. Few lingering showers are possible in the Eastern Magic Valley Friday afternoon with skies clearing and winds diminishing in the Western Magic Valley. Temperatures will be cooler back to the low 60s for the valleys and mid 50s in the mountains.
