Foaling time

Foaling season is so exciting. With each mare that foals there comes with the birth a new dream. My first foal I will always remember. She was beautiful, she was every young girls dream come true. We became the best of friends. When ever I called for her she would come running to me.
I watch her grow and become a fine mare. She looked wonderful under a saddle, but I loved to ride her bear back best of all. When ever I road her with out a saddle, I could feel her body ripple underneath me when she was running. She loved to run! When ever I raced her we became one. It was like we were flying on wings. Her stride was so smooth. Horses have come and gone but that Thoroughbred mare will always be a part of me.
