Last night, 7/18/09, around 9:30 a mircobrust hit the Richfield out in the country. It was sudden and only lasted a couple of minutes at the most. I looked off towards the desert and noticed some emergency flashers on the road, below the Richfield Canal. I left to see if we might have had a heifer out. I kind of wish it would have been that simple. As a near the canal, I'm wishing it was something easy. Wishful thinking..., my lights reflect off of the wheel lines so close to the road. We were in trouble. The mircoburst had rolled quarter of out wheelines overs the fence. I guess you can imagine what were going to be doing later? It was to late to be fixing the line, so we tied them to the fence, and called it a night to fix in a couple of days.
