Tinker Bell my mallard duck was rescued from an abandon nest with only one egg in it. She hatched with in two days. Tinker Bell thought I was her mother. She trusted me right away and wanted to be where ever I was.

She's hatched out six little ducks and has let us enjoy her babies. I have raised ducks for awhile and she has been as tame as they come. I have found that ducks unusually do not want people close to their little ones.

Tinker Bells babies have never learned to fear of me and she has let a few close friends near them. How ever she will not welcome strangers the same way.

I got Tinker Bell and her babies a little pool and they love it. they have played for hours in and out of the pool. Splashing water all over. And they get me wet when I am trying take pictures of them playing in the water.

I have some domestic ducks that would like to have the pool but Tinker Bell runs then off. Tinker Bell will not let the other ducks get near her babies she is very protective of her little ones! Those other ducks fear her hostility.

The way she excepts me and share her babies makes me feel like I’m privileged. I have always enjoyed my duck but never near this much!
