TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) - Here is your American Legion Baseball recap for the week ending Saturday, July 11.

Minico 8, Burley 7: The Storm rallied for five runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to shock the Green Sox. Both Dax Sayer and Tazyn Twiss produced two hits and just as many RBI’s. Treyson Fletcher went four innings and Carson Schow pitched two for Minico. Matt Evans had a pair of hits for Burley. Slayder Watterson went five innings, striking out seven.

Burley 6, Minico 3: Scott Ritchie went five innings, striking out 11 in the win. Izaak Macias added a pair of RBI’s at the plate. Stockton Chandler had two hits in the loss for the Storm.

Twin Falls “AA” Cowboys 6, Twin Falls Blackhawks 5: The Cowboys only managed three hits, but they took advantage of three errors to get the win over their crosstown rival. Drake Rosas and John Tolk led the Riverhawks with two hits apiece. Lucas Young went five innings, striking out three for the Cowboys.

Twin Falls “AA” Cowboys 10, Twin Falls Blackhawks 0: Carson Walters pitched a complete game (6 innings), striking out six in the shutout. He also had three hits and just as many RBI’s at the plate.

Wendell 7, Twin Falls “A” Cowboys 4: Donald Bunn went seven innings, striking out 10. Giser pitched 5.2 innings for TF, striking out nine.

Twin Falls “A” Cowboys 12, Wendell 4: The Cowboys break open a 3-3 after the first inning with a four-run second inning. Madesty scored four hits, with five RBI’s.
