Teen driver killed in Gooding County car crash
TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) - A teen driver died Monday night in a single-car crash in Gooding County.
Idaho State Police said the car traveled northbound before 8:40 p.m. on State Highway 46, about 14 miles north of Gooding, when the driver lost control, went off the road, swerved left, overcorrecting as the car came back onto the roadway.
The Subaru Outback continued out of control, rolling on the highway before coming to rest in a ditch on the west side of the highway, according to an ISP news release.
ISP said the driver was not wearing a seat belt and died of their injuries at the scene.
Family has been notified.
