Fit and Well Idaho: Making smarter New Year’s resolutions
TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) —A new year brings with it New Year’s resolutions, and often times people make resolutions to better their health, and that’s the topic of this week’s Fit and Well Idaho report.
St Luke’s family doctor Jonathan Muretisch, encourages people to make smarter New Year’s resolutions.
Now the word “smarter,” is actually an acronym. Standing for: specific, measurable, attainable, relevant, timely, evidence based, and relapse prevention.
This way of making resolutions using the S.M.A.R.T.E.R. technique is meant to help people complete those beginning of the year goals with more success.
“I think that resolutions can be very important and they can make a big difference in terms of your health,” said Dr. Jonathan Muretisch.
