Thursday’s Scores:

Caldwell 6, Filer 4: Wyatt Phillips went four innings, striking out seven. Logan Lockwood had two hits and one RBI in the loss.

Ridgevue 8, Filer 1: Logan Lockwood went three innings, striking out four. Lockwood, Jett VanBiezen and Jonah DeLeon all had two hits.

Twin Falls 11, Rigby 5: Freshman LHP Wesley Vinson had a strong start with three innings of work with striking out 6 and only 2 earned runs in his varsity action as a Bruin. Ayden Coats pitched the final 3 innings. Both pitchers only surrendered 2 hits on the evening. Bruin Hitters: Tyler Horner 1-2, 2 RBI’s, 3B | Otho Savage 1-4 2 RBI’s | Luke Moon 1-2 2 RBI | Luke Spitznagel 2 RBI. Bruins are back in action on Friday at 4:30 vs. Post Falls @ Bishop Kelly HS. Twin Falls 2, Timberline 1: The Bruins opened up tournament play in Boise with a 2-1 win over 5A powerhouse Timberline High School. The Bruins starting pitcher Otho Savage went 6 1/3 innings striking out 5 and only allowing one earned run. Luke Moon recorded the final two outs of the game to get the save. Overall 5-4, GBC 2-0.

Tuesday’s Score:

Twin Falls 5, Pocatello 4: The Bruins had a strong start from Sophomore Calvry Leiser going 3 innings, 1 BB 3 K’s and no hits. Sophomore Ayden Coats was effective as well on the mound going 3.1 innings with 2 K’s and giving up 1 hit. Senior Koiya Martinez recorded the final 2 outs of the game earning the save with two strikeouts. Hitting wise for the Bruins Otho Savage 2-3, Ben Tarchione 1-1, 1BB, 1 RBI. Tai Walker 1-2 3B, BB, RBI. Bruins are now Overall 4-4 GBC 2-0. They are next on the diamond on Thursday in Boise in the Spring Break Tournament. Opening up against 5A powerhouse Timberline HS at 2:00 and 4:30 vs. Rigby. Games on Thursday are at Mt. View HS. Game Friday vs. Post Falls 4:30 @ Bishop Kelly HS and Saturday 12:00 vs. Bishop Kelly @ Bishop Kelly HS.

Monday’s Score:

Twin Falls 7, Rocky Mountain 2: The Bruins jumped out to 2-0 lead after three innings, but couldn’t hang on. Twin Falls drops to 3-4 overall.

Saturday’s Scores:

Twin Falls 3, Highland 2: The Bruins rally late to beat the Highland Rams 3-2. Overall 3-3 GBC 2-0
