CSI Softball wins fourth straight game

TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — The College of Southern Idaho Softball team won both games over Colorado Northwestern on Friday, 20-0 and 18-2.

CSI 20, CNW 0:

Payton Hammond went 3-for-4 with two RBI. Carley Croshaw was 2-for-3 with four RBI. Maya Williams was 2-for-2, Siera Horton was 1-for-1 and Maizie Clark was 2-for-2 with three RBI. Camryn Willier came in to pinch-hit a solo home run for the Golden Eagles.

Gracie Walters had eight strikeouts in five innings.

CSI 18, CNW 2:

Payton Hammond went 2-for-3 at the plate with a grand slam and seven RBI. Brynne Tolley was 2-for-3 with a triple and Maggie Whipple was 2-for-2 with a triple.

Jessica Touchard gave up one earned run on six hits with five strikeouts.

CSI, 18-12 overall and 9-5 in conference play, hosts CNCC Saturday at noon for another doubleheader.
