TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — CSI softball dominated a winless Colorado Northwestern in a doubleheader Saturday. The Golden Eagles outscored the Spartans 42-2 in the twin bill.

Game 1

CSI 21, CNCC 0

Jessica Touchard and Sophia Stoddard hit back-to-back homeruns in the second inning to extend the Golden Eagles lead to 15.

Carley Croshaw was 4-for-4 with five RBI’s. Maizie Clark added three hits for CSI.

Kenzie Waters tossed four scoreless innings, only allowing three hits and striking out four.

Game 2

CSI 21, CNCC 2

CSI finished out the series sweep with another dominating performance. Payton Hammond threw four strong innings, striking out four and not allowing a run. Touchard added another homerun. Maizie Clark had three more hits, including a triple. Syndey Eyre also had two hits.

CSI has now won six in a row. The Golden Eagles are 11-5 in conference play and 20-12 overall.

The Golden Eagles will head to Price, UT next weekend for a four-game series with Utah State-Eastern.
