CALDWELL, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — The Glenns Ferry softball team finished off a dominating state tournament run with a 19-7 win over Notus in the championship game.

Glenns Ferry started the softball program in 1994, and have finished as high as third. Now, for the first time in school history, the Pilots are state softball champions.

Madi Fink threw seven innings for Glenns Ferry in the win. Fink, Aubrey Gibbons, and Kyan Jackson had three hits for the Pilots. Fink also had four RBI’s.

In four games at state, Glenns Ferry scored 68 runs and won every game by at least five runs.
