TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — After a two-year hiatus, Twin Falls Ground Control Dance Studio is back under the bright lights at the Orpheum Theater, and this weekend with their show Nostalgik.

The clogging and power tap group have two shows scheduled for 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

The show is appropriately named with music by artists like Michael Jackson, Styx and Sugarhill Gang and outfits sure to take you back.

After not being able to perform due to the pandemic, the dancers are beyond ready to hear the cheers from the crowd and feel the rewards of putting on a show once again.

“That’s been the best part, is hearing the audience cheer after every dance, that’s awesome, that’s been the best part,” said studio owner Hailey Hillstead. “Parents [are] coming up to me like, ‘my whole family got to see the kids dance,’ and that’s so great, it’s been so long.”

Tickets are still available for both shows, you can get them at the door or through the Orpheum Theater website.
