Free online classes available for students
“We feel that whether its academics or career prep, the younger the better.”
TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — The Coronavirus pandemic caused many students to suffer gaps in education due to difficulties presented by online learning.
To make up for that gap Stride, a virtual education company is offering free classes for students in grades six through twelve.
Stride offers a wide variety of courses from Algebra and Geometry to career building and theater.
President Dr. Shaun McAlmont says the company is proud to offer the opportunity for students across the country to realize their full potential.
“The earlier we can introduce career skills to students, the better they’ll be later on in their career, when they don’t have to change majors and all that stuff, just getting an idea of where they should be,” said McAlmont. “We feel that whether its academics or career prep, doing it at scale, the younger the better.”
Course offerings and registration are available on Stride’s website.
