New Twin Falls business promises safe, fun for kids and adults alike
Behind the Business: Blast Masters
TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — It’s no secret Twin Falls is rapidly growing, and with that expansion comes new opportunities for fun and entertainment.
One of the cities newest businesses? Blast Masters, which is an indoor Nerf gun arena.
Owner Melyssa Jensen said she was inspired to open this business — located at 170 South Park Avenue — after seeing how much her sons enjoy playing with their Nerf guns.
“They play Nerf a lot in my house and there are bullets everywhere,” said Jensen.
Without much experience in the field, Jensen sought the advice of a Nerf gun arena owner in Boise, who helped put her on the right track. Since opening, she has found the community has been excited about having a new entertainment venue.
Blast Masters supplies the Nerf guns and ammo, but Nerf games aren’t the only options for fun.
“We have dart machines. We have air hockey. We have all kinds of things to do,” said Jensen.
While they haven’t yet been open for even two weeks, Blast Masters offer a cool place where kids can make friends and play, especially during these hot summer months.
“This could be a place where kids are gonna hang out and enjoy being inside instead of being on their games on the couch,” said Jensen. “I hope this gets them out and involved in the community a little more like with dart tournaments.”
