FILER, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) —The Filer Fun Days are back again starting Friday night at the Twin Falls County fairgrounds and organizers are expecting a record turnout.

The annual event did take place last year, but only had around 500 to 600 visitors. This year, organizer Cheryl Carr is expecting around 3,000 people.

The Fun Days start Friday night with a fish fry before making way for a 5K and Fun Run, pancake breakfast, live music, and more Saturday.

Carr says the “Fun in the Sun” themed parade is on Saturday and is expected to be twice the size of a normal year.

“The parade leaves the fairgrounds at 11 a.m. and comes through Filer and the first leg of the parade is heading west on Main Street and that’s the best place to be view the parade,” said Carr.

The firework show will cap everything off on Saturday night.
