TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — After a stellar freshman campaign, a CSI baseball player earned All-American honors.

University of California San Diego commit Crew Robinson made the NCAA Division I Baseball All-America second team.

Robinson actually arrived the season before at CSI, but due to COVID-19, he got another year of eligibility and boy, did he utilize it.

In addition to the All-American recognition, Robinson also earned Region 18 first team honors.

The Cedar Hills, UT native led the team with a .396 batting average, 67 hits, 63 RBIs and 14 home runs. No one on the team was even close to the latter two categories.

CSI placed third in both the regular season and Region 18 tournament, ending with a 34-21 record.
