BURLEY, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — Burley standout hoopster Amari Whiting is back home after a visit to Oregon, which resulted in an offer from the Ducks.

Whiting had this to say about her experience, “Coach Graves and his staff were amazing! Combine that with their culture and facilities and it’s easy to see why they are a top 5 program in the nation.”

For the incoming junior, right now she’s focused on playing well with her travel team through July, but hopes to have her list narrowed down to two or three schools by August.

Whiting has scored 1,210 points in two years so far with the Bobcats. She set multiple classification records at the 4A state tournament in February, en route towards being named the 4A Player of the Year.

In the Way-Too-Early Top 25 rankings released on ESPN, Oregon came in at No. 10 for the upcoming season.
