SHOSHONE—Our sweet angel and beloved Cheryl Lynn Eckles Adams, age 74, of Shoshone, passed away on March 28, 2023 at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Twin Falls with family by her side.
Cheryl was born on July 10, 1948 in Wendell, Idaho, to Calvin and Donna Lancaster Eckles. She had a brother - Jim and a sister - Becci.
Cheryl married her love, Roddy L. Adams on July 29, 1966. They had 3 children - Tammy, Cory and Chad.
On January 1, 1977 Roddy and Cheryl bought the Adams family dairy farm. From this, they created Hi-Line Farms, Inc. The farm evolved from operating a dairy to raising crops and custom farming.
In addition to farming, Cheryl did many things throughout her life that revolved around helping others. A guardian angel not only to her family, but those wings spread very far and wide. In 1987 she became a Guardian ad Litem and helped children through the court systems. In 1989 she opened Countryside Relationship Counseling Center where several individuals and families received help and life changing skills.
In 2002 Cheryl became an Adult and Juvenile Probation Officer for Lincoln County. One of the touching memories shared after her passing said it best, “God take good care of the best friend a kid in trouble ever had.” Throughout Cheryl’s life she had a passion and dedication for helping others in need. She will always be remembered for her kindness, generosity, the ability to see the good in people and the positive in all situations. Making others laugh and bringing joy was also one of her greatest gifts.
Cheryl was a loving wife, wonderful mother, sister, aunt, cousin, friend and the very best grandma anyone could have. She lived for her family and was always there for every one of them. She was the rock and glue to her family and always made things feel perfect and right in every way. She was a beautiful person that everyone should aspire to be.
