WENDELL, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) —Katie Cutler, 69, a resident of Wendell, passed away Sunday, September 17, 2023 at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Boise.

Kay Ann was born on June 24, 1954 in Gannett, Idaho, the daughter of Clifford and Della Kimbrough.

She was raised and educated in Wendell and continued her education at Boise State University. She was an educator by profession but she took her role as Mom and Grandma as her life’s passion. When she wasn’t with family, she was traveling the world enjoying God’s creations.

She was married to Scott Cutler on October 14, 1972.  Their family was sealed for time and all eternity on November 23, 1979 in the Idaho Falls, LDS Temple.

She is survived by: her four sons - JohnScott (Kari) Cutler of Wendell, Jake (Kelli) Cutler of Meridian, Justin (Brittany) Cutler of Harrison, Arkansas and Zak (Kimberly) Cutler of Boise; three sisters - Cheryl Rost of Nampa, Jonie Benson of Twin Falls and Julie Zaccone of Halfway, Oregon; 20 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren with two more blessings on the way.

She was preceded in death by: her parents - Clifford and Della Kimbrough; two sisters - Sandi and Vickie; and the love of her life, her husband - Scott Cutler.

A viewing will be held on Friday, September 29, 2023 from 10:00 - 11:00 am at the Wendell LDS Stake Center in Wendell.

A funeral service will be held on Friday September 29, 2023 from 11:00 pm at the Wendell LDS Stake Center in Wendell.

Burial will follow at the Wendell Cemetery in Wendell.

Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Demaray Funeral Service – Wendell Chapel.
