Winners of the 2024 holiday card contest announced

TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — The Idaho Department of Education has announced two students as winners for their winter-themed artwork that is featured on the 2024 holiday cards. One student is selected from grades K-6 and another from 7-12. Fifth grader Emersyn Hanks of Rock Creek Elementary took the K-6 division with a Santa-themed tree and eleventh grader Izzy Davidson from Sandpoint High School won with a hat-wearing holiday moose. Submissions were selected from many entries and voted on by the Idaho Department of Education staff.
“This is always a fun and refreshing way for the department to get into the holiday spirit with a focus on students, and I always love seeing the amazing talent that these young artists have,” said Superintendent of Public Instruction Debbie Critchfield. “I’d like to thank each student who took the time to submit to the contest and to congratulate Emersyn and Izzy on their winning work this year.”
The contest also named a winner from each grade.
