Grammy-nominated producer Tay Keith found dead in Nashville, police confirm

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV/Gray News) - Authorities in Tennessee confirmed the death of a Grammy-nominated producer Thursday.

According to the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department, Brytavious Chambers, better known as Tay Keith, was found dead in his apartment.

Police said his body was discovered after officers performed a welfare check.

Investigators noted that it didn’t appear that any foul play was involved in the producer’s death, but his cause of death has not yet been determined.

The 29-year-old worked with a wide range of hip-hop and pop artists that included Beyoncé, Travis Scott and Drake, while receiving a Grammy nomination in 2019.
