Vanessa Grieve

Vanessa Grieve joined KMVT News in February 2016. She grew up in Idaho Falls and graduated from Idaho State University with a degree in Mass Communication, emphasis in Broadcast Production.

After graduation, she interned at the Idaho State Journal in Pocatello before becoming a multimedia reporter. After two years of reporting she moved to Moscow, Idaho, and continued writing for the Idaho State Journal as a freelance writer and later became editor of the Southeast Idaho Business Journal bimonthly magazine. During her time in Moscow, she worked for the University of Idaho’s Video Production Center running camera, technical directing, doing voiceovers and other production tasks.

Vanessa is curious and enjoys getting to know people and telling their stories for others to enjoy. She and her husband enjoy mountain biking, quality live music and cooking on the fly.
