The 19th Annual Great Wagon Days Duck Race is coming up this Sunday.

The duck race is a fundraiser for the Sun Valley–Ketchum Rotary, an organization that donates to numerous causes throughout the community.

As part of the race, thousands of plastic ducks will get dumped into the Big Wood River and race several hundred yards before they are caught and gathered.

Each plastic duck is marked with a number and winning ducks get a variety of prizes, including a Sun Valley Ski Pass.

"The Ketchum –Sun Valley Rotary Club has enjoyed a long standing tradition of supporting all of our community non–profits. We've raised over one million dollars through the duck race over its 18 years and we're hoping this last year is going to be another fantastic year," said Jeff Smith, Sun Valley-Ketchum Rotary Club President.

Ducks are currently on sale throughout the Wood River Valley.

And don't forget, there is also a million dollar duck.

It needs to have the chosen number and cross the finish line first, which has never happened.
