The Environmental Resource Center in Blaine County is hosting its 22nd Annual Clean Sweep even Saturday.

The event has taken place on the first Saturday of May since 1994.

It's an opportunity for volunteers of all ages to get together and do some spring cleaning outdoors.

Folks interested in participating can meet starting at 9 a.m. at three locations.

The ERC office in Ketchum, KB's in Hailey, or Memorial Park in Bellevue.

"We live in such a beautiful environment. So taking care of it is really important,” said Hadley Debree, with the Environmental Resource Center. “It helps kind of connect the beauty of our environment and how we can take care of it and clean up. And it's amazing because you can look around and it seems like it's pretty clean, but when you start honing in on the micro-trash, there is quite a bit."

Complimentary breakfast snacks, coffee, and a free lunch.
