One person was flown via air ambulance to an area hospital following a medical emergency at a feed company near Eden.

The Jerome County Sheriff’s Office investigates what they initially believe to be an accident that occurred sometime after 8 a.m. Wednesday at Standlee Hay Company.

Tim Pearl, a spokesman for Standlee Hay reached out to KMVT Wednesday afternoon to say the employee suffered a heart attack and was taken to St. Luke's in Twin Falls.

The Deputy Miguel Noriega said when officers arrived, the person had already been loaded onto the medical helicopter. Employees told law enforcement the man was working on an out-of-service piece of equipment and believed he may have fallen off of a step ladder. Law enforcement later confirmed they suspected a medical issue may have played a part in the incident. There was no word on the man's condition.

An earlier story said the man was taken to a Boise hospital. Law enforcement later said the man may have been taken to St. Luke’s in Twin Falls.
