Build your own terrarium event

If you're looking for a way to bring the outdoors indoors, in a small way… you might want to make your own terrarium.

The Environmental Resource Center is hosting a "Build Your Own Terrarium" event Thursday evening at its office in Ketchum.

You're invited to swing by the ERC deck between 6-7 pm to create your own terrarium to take home.

There is a suggested donation of $15 for members and $20 for non–members.

Supplies are included.

"There have been a lot of people that said that terrariums were really popular in the 70s and the 80s and now they're coming back. And there are a ton of different terrariums that you can build and buy, and I guess they're also selling terrariums at the farmer's market, so that's an indicator that they're popular here," said Hadley DeBree, Executive Director of ERC.

The event is intended for all ages and includes complimentary wine, beer, and sparkling water.
