TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — The College of Southern Idaho is hosting a citizenship classes starting Monday at the CSI Gooding Center.
The 12-week class is Mondays and Wednesdays, 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and runs from Feb. 11 until May 1. The class is offered free of charge to the community. Those interested in joining would need to attend the first meeting to register and complete an English placement test.
According to information from CSI, this class will prepare eligible legal permanent resident adults with hands-on, bilingual (English and Spanish languages) instruction for the naturalization process. Students will receive instruction in U.S. Government, English, and civics test preparation, and the interview procedure.
The CSI Gooding Center is located at 202 14th Ave E. in Gooding.
CSI offers citizenship classes during the fall and spring semesters. A citizenship class is starting in Jerome, Tuesday, Feb. 12 and runs Tuesdays and Thursday from 6-8:30 p.m. CSI is offering citizenship classes this semester in Twin Falls and Burley on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The Twin Falls class starts Feb. 19 from 6-8:30 p.m. and in Burley class starts Feb. 21 from 9-11:30 a.m.
