Calving cow attacks man, reported in fair condition

KIMBERLY, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) - A man is in fair condition after getting attacked by a cow in Kimberly late morning Thursday.

The Twin Falls County Sheriff's Office responded to the accident near 4000 North 3400 East.

The call came in at 11:38 a.m., with a 63-year-old man calling, saying a cow hit him multiple times.

According to authorities, he was out with his cattle and was hit multiple times after a cow gave birth.

He was able to get out of the coral after making the initial call and went back into the house.

Authorities say he was transported to Magic Valley St. Luke's via ground ambulance and was conscious and breathing.

The hospital reports him in fair condition.
