Section of State Highway 24 reopens after crash near Heyburn

HEYBURN, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — A section of State Highway 24 reopened after being closed for a couple of hours due to a crash on Wednesday afternoon.

Idaho State Police issued a news release shortly after 2 p.m. saying the crash happened at the intersection of SH24 and US Highway 30. The highway going westbound was expected to be blocked for about two hours.
ISP issued an updated news release at about 4:30 p.m. saying the scene of highway was reopen.

ISP responded to the crash and advised motorists to expect delays.

ISP posted a picture on Twitter of an SUV that collided with the side of a commercial truck.
