A Pennsylvania man is recovering Monday afternoon after a fall at Mount Borah.

Custer County Search and Rescue contacted the Two Bear Air Rescue Helicopter team from Kalispell, Montana to help with the search. CCSR Mackay Unit set up a ground rescue climbing team at the Smith Ranch located at the base of Borah.

Yan had to wait about nine hours before rescue teams could reach him. He was treated for severe hypothermia and eventually life-flighted to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.

Mount Borah summits at 12,657 feet, making it the tallest mountain in Idaho.
