(KMVT/KSVT) — A sheriff's deputy is all right after rolling a patrol car while out on a call on Wednesday outside of Richfield.
The Lincoln County Sheriff said the deputy was responding to a call at Shoshone schools when the driver rolled the SUV. The deputy sustained only minor injuries and did not need to go to the hospital.
Sheriff Rene Rodriguez said that was partially due to where it landed and the fact the deputy was wearing a seat belt.
As for the car, the insurance company is taking a look at it now. The sheriff anticipated it will be covered, and taxpayers shouldn't see an impact.
